Researcher in the Spectroscopy department

Job description:
- coordination of experimental activities (inter-laboratory collaboration)
- development of measurement techniques a sensor systems
- implementation of sensor networks for air quality monitoring
- processing data from laboratory experiments and field monitoring
- publishing, popularisation of results and citizen science activities

Knowledge and experience requirements:
- Advanced ability to plan and implement joint experimental activities of several research institutions (inter-laboratory collaboration).
- extensive knowledge and experience in laser-based techniques for high-resolution molecular spectroscopy in gas phase
- experience in leading research projects and publishing internationally
- basic programming and data analysis (in Python)
- communication skills in both Czech and English (both written and spoken)

Education:
- PhD or equivalent in environmental sciences, safety science, etc.

Type of contract: Temporary (1. 9. 2023 - 30. 6. 2024)

Job status: Half-time
