Postdoc for degradation processes of organic dyes used on the art objects

We are looking for a postdoc to study the degradation processes of organic compounds used on artworks will be studied at J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague.

The successful applicant will use electrochemical techniques like cyclic voltammetry, alternate current voltammetry, and impedance spectrometry for the determination of the oxidation mechanism of organic dyes. The structure-electrochemical activity relationship will be solved. The oxidation products generated during degradation processes and by spectroelectrochemistry will be identified by UV-Vis and IR spectrometry. Chromatography with diode array and mass spectrometric detection (MS/MS) will be the second part of the job.
