The Institute accepts electronic documents in the following formats:

  • pdf (Portable Document Format),
  • PDF/A, ISO 19005 (Portable Document Format for the Long-term Archiving),
  • odt (Open Document Text), ods (Open Document Spreadsheet),
  • odp (Open Document Presentation),
  • txt (plain text, kódování CP-852, CP-1250, UTF-8),
  • rtf (Rich Text Format),
  • doc (MS Word Document),
  • xls (MS Excel Spreadsheet),
  • ppt (MS PowerPoint Presentation),
  • jpg/jpeg (Joint Photographic Experts Group),
  • png (Portable Network Graphics),
  • gif (Graphics Interchange Format),
  • zip, rar.
     
  • Size of the data message delivered by standard email, not via the data box: 20 MB
  • Message size delivered via data box: 10 MB
  • Technical requirements for image documents: scan resolution of at least 300 x 300 dpi, color depth of at least 24 bits or 256 shades of gray for black and white conversion only.
  • Supported transfer media: CD / DVD, USB flash memory stick.

The Institute does not accept:

  • executable files.
  • data files containing so-called malicious code (incorrect data format or computer program capable of causing damage to the information system, software, or information of the ÚFCHJH, or capable of damaging the ÚFCHJH by misuse of information). A manifestation of the so-called malicious code is also the state when the document is not user-perceptible - readable.

If an electronic document/data message is delivered to HIPC and does not comply with HIPC´s policy regarding document acceptance, is incomplete, unreadable, contains malicious code and simultaneously is possible to identify the contact or electronic address of the sender/mailer, HIPC will contact them and inform about identified defects and set the process of defects elimination.
If defects are not eliminated or it is not possible to identify the contact data of the sender/mailer, the document will be considered nondelivered and will not be subject to another process.
The same will be applied if an analogue document delivered to ÚFCH JH is defective.

The sender is responsible (including legal liability) for compliance with the above conditions.
