Annotation

Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry (ÚFCH JH) is a leading Czech scientific institution, which is the co-researcher on a number of research projects funded from national sources as well as from the European Union. Therefore, it is a natural effort for the workplace to continuously develop and improve its system of education, recruitment and development of scientists so that it meets all the parameters of the strategic management of the research organization in accordance with the terms of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (C&C). The Project follows-up to the project “Capacity Development of ÚFH JH, v.v.i. for Research and Development” (HR Award UFCH JH I), supported also from the OP RDE. The HR Award UFCH JH II project responds to new needs identified during the implementation of the previous project, to which it is complementary.

The Project is focused on creation of strategy for sustainable development of the Institute with an overall vision in the long-term horizon, the development of internationalization and open access to scientific information as well as related promotion and popularization of results.

Part of this Project is also development of a long-term strategy aimed at gender imbalances elimination in decision-making structures as well as internal system of grant projects support enabling development despite stagnation of institutional funding.

Main objective

Strategic positioning of the management of the research organization in accordance with the conditions for European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

  2. Strategic positioning and development of international cooperation in the research and development as well as internationalization of the research organization
