1994

I joined the group of electrode kinetics in J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague.

I was very lucky by coming to group lead by Doc. Lubomir Pospisil, CSc. He taught me the basis of electrochemical processes and inspired me to recognise the beauty of the electrochemical experiment. His magic dance between cables and connections always seemed to be like a concert of a grand artist. His home-made electrochemical instrumentation, the potentiostat, suplementary electronic adapter to the drop electrode (I was made to built my own!), all the software written in Pascal, everything was daily in use in our laboratory.
He introduced me to  polarography. Other electrochemical methods as cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry are combined with spectroscopic and analytical techniques. We use methods listed in METHODS.

AT PRESENT

I am a supervisor of bachelor, master or PhD. students
