RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

·        Identification of trace metabolites in human breath using mass spectrometry-based methods.

·        Ion chemistry involved in quantification of trace volatile compounds in air, exhaled breath and in the headspace of biological samples.

·        Development new approaches to the Secondary Electrospray Ionisation Mass Spectrometry (SESI-MS) focused on quantification.

·        Studies of the kinetics of ion-molecule reactions of H3O+, NO+ and O2+ ions with neutral complex molecules in Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS).
