Research interests
Molecular Spectroscopy and Photochemistry (presentation video, in Czech - download) The research directions are:
- Structure and dynamics of various molecular clusters. The research focuses on: (1) rare-gas clusters as model systems for cluster ionization and fragmentation studies; (2) hydrogen bonded clusters important in physics, chemistry and biology; (3) clusters of atmospheric relevance (e.g., acidic dissociation of HCl in mixed HCl/H2O clusters); (4) heterogeneous clusters with embedded foreign species.

- Research of atmospheric radicals and other molecular species relevant to atmospheric chemistry and their characterization using high resolution laser absorption spectroscopy. Novel experimental approaches for detection and characterization of such species at very low concentrations in the gas phase.
- Cavity ring down spectroscopy.
